Latin Braided Bread with Ham, Cheese, Onion and Heart of Palm
Spanish-speaking countries are an explosion of color, cuisine, dance and tradition. Granier wanted to pay homage to all the people who feel part of this diverse and rich culture through a special recipe with our most Latin product – Braided Latin bread. A dish combining the freshness of its ingredients with our soft and tender bread. Salsa, bachata, tango, merengue… And fine food!
From around the world
- 1/2 loaf Braided Latin bread
- 1/2 onion
- 1 tsp butter
- Olive oil
- Sea salt
- 2 slices ham
- 2 slices Edam cheese
- 1 Heart of palm
- Thousand Island dressing
Slice the onion into two thin crescents and sauté with the butter, a large pinch of salt and a little olive oil until soft.
Slice the heart of palm diagonally.
Slice loaf open and toast.
Spread a little extra butter on one piece, top with the ham, cheese, sautéed onion and palm.
Drizzle with Thousand Island dressing and place other slice of bread on top.
