Norlander with Salmon
The countries of northern Europe have always been characterized by their icy waters and cold climates. To combat the low temperatures, German bakers created a type of bread high in nutrients, filled with seeds and an intense flavor: Norlander Another feature of Germany and Scandinavian countries is their love of fish. That's why we’ve brought the two things together to make a dish dedicated to northern cuisine. It's sandwich time!
From around the world
- 2 slices Norlander bread
- 3 pickles
- 1 handful fresh spinach leaves
- Cream cheese
- 2 slices smoked salmon
- Bean sprouts
- 1/2 red onion
Finely slice the pickles and fold into the cream cheese.
Season the spinach leaves with a bit of olive oil.
Slice the onion.
Spread one of the slices of bread with the cream cheese/pickle mix and top with the salmon slices, spinach leaves and onion. Finish with the sprouts.
Place the other slice of bread on top and serve.
