100% Wholegrain Sandwich with Brie, Anchovies and Diced Tomato and Olives
It's no easy task finding bread made from wholegrain wheat these days. If you want one that's also 100% wholegrain it’s harder still. But don't worry! Granier has the solution. For wholegrain fans we’ve created a natural yeast sourdough made from 100% wholemeal wheat. A real delicacy. And in addition to the benefits of the bread, we have a recipe featuring vegetables, olives and parmesan cheese – it's enough to make your mouth water. So, if you're up for giving it a try... It's sandwich time!
- 2 slices 100% wholegrain sourdough bread
- Brie sliced in 5 thin slices
- 3 anchovies
- 1 handful lettuce leaves, chopped, washed and dried
- 1 tomato
- 4 black olives
- 1 heaping teaspoon shaved parmesan cheese
Finely dice the tomato.
Dice the olives, mix with the tomato and season with olive oil and a pinch of salt.
Toast the bread.
Place the lettuce leaves on one slice of bread.
Top with the brie and diced tomato and olives and sprinkle with parmesan.
Place the other slice of bread on top and serve.
